Summary

On April 14, 1954, near Roswell, New Mexico, a sighting was reported in the vicinity of Roswell Radio. At 2:15 p.m., a dull reddish glow was observed above the lower cloud deck. The same glow was sighted again at 2:15 p.m. north of Capitan Mountains, heading west. The lower cloud deck was approximately six thousand feet. Two places sighted the object during a brief report. The Air Force evaluated the case as insufficient data for evaluation.
