Summary

On November 6, 1957, at approximately 11:55 p.m., a witness traveling west in a small town adjacent to South Liandule, Oak Tree, New Jersey, noticed a very bright spot in the upper left-hand corner of the sky. The witness pulled over to the road and watched the bright spot until it disappeared. The object appeared as a bright silver light at first, left no vapor trail, and was seen climbing at a steep angle. The object could be easily turned into different angles. The witness observed the shape clearly, but it turned into a powerful light and disappeared. Insufficient information was provided for evaluation. The Air Force evaluation is listed as unknown.
