Summary

On the night of August 21, 1957, several people in the Santa Monica, California, area reported two round silver objects in the sky. The objects were about the size of a pea and were stacked one on top of the other. The sighting lasted 10 to 13 minutes. The top object drifted to the left at times, then returned to its place over the lower object. The objects dropped from sight to the north-northwest, behind mountains.
