Summary

On July 28, 1961, north of Dayton, Ohio, a civilian fireman reported a light in the sky. He saw it at 2307 (11:07 p.m.) and watched it for about 2 to 5 minutes. The object looked like a stationary light that changed in brightness. It appeared like a bright star low in the northeast. The Air Force tried to contact the witness but could not reach him. The card notes that a first magnitude star, Capella, was low on the north northeast horizon at that time. Because key details were missing, the report was listed as insufficient data.
