Summary

On September 26, 1960, military observers aboard a ship northeast of Bermuda reported a falling object at 0527 (5:27 a.m.) GMT. The object was yellowish-green and described as a falling star or object. The sighting lasted about one second. It was seen at an elevation angle of 25 degrees and an azimuth of 312 degrees. The aircraft or ship position was given as 3245N 6356W. The Air Force listed the case as a probable meteor.
