This case file is heavily degraded, and the OCR is too garbled to extract a reliable account of the May 1950 sighting at Ladd AFB, Alaska. Pages 1 through 4 are largely illegible due to scanning quality, making it impossible to determine what was observed, by whom, when, or how the Air Force investigated the incident. Pages 5 and 6 are nearly blank. Pages 7 and 8 contain correspondence about a different UFO case entirely, involving photographs taken in McMinnville, Oregon in 1950, which is unrelated to the Ladd AFB file.
