Insufficient Data

Summary

On December 11, 1952, several people in the Karachi area, in Pakistan, reported seeing objects in the sky. The sightings happened during the morning, at varying times between about 7:30 and 10:00 a.m.

Four objects were reported by several persons. Some witnesses said the objects looked like white metal discs. Others described them as clear, circular objects. The objects were said to be flying at high altitude and high speed, leaving a white smoky trail behind them.

One reporter offered a different view, saying the objects were actually aircraft flying at high altitude. Military officials noted that the reported times did not match any known Royal Pakistan Air Force high-altitude flights in the area, by jet or piston aircraft.

This report reached the Air Force through a U.S. military attache wire and a daily intelligence summary. The record card lists the conclusion as insufficient data for evaluation.
