Summary

On October 29, 1955, at 2:35 p.m., a civilian observer in Fairfield, California reported seeing one or possibly two objects. The witness described the initial sighting as an object the size of a pin head that later appeared as large as a number 4 BB when observed overhead. The object had a dull metal appearance and flew in a straight, level path. The sighting lasted fifteen seconds and the object moved from southwest to northeast. Due to delays and discrepancies in the observer's story, no formal investigation was authorized. The Air Force evaluation was "Unknown."
