Summary
On August 1, 1956, at 8:05 p.m., a civilian observer in Eaton, Ohio reported a bright orange light that was stationary and observed for five minutes. The light was positioned 110 degrees from true north and 35 degrees above the horizon. The observation lasted five minutes with no further data reported. The Air Force could not contact the observer for more information. The report was complicated by faxes received in Ohio and forwarded through Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The AF evaluation is listed as unknown.
