Summary

On November 3, 1956, a civilian saw one object over Cincinnati, Ohio. The object was watched for three to six seconds.

The witness described one round, bright white, glowing object the size of a pencil eraser at arm's length. It moved in a downward flight path and disappeared behind the horizon a few miles away. The sighting was made at about 7:20 a.m. local time.

The Air Force record card lists the cause as a meteor. The card noted that the description and short duration pointed to a meteor. Project 10073 was the Air Force's official record system for reports of unidentified flying objects.
