Summary
On November 11, 1957, a witness at Chattanooga, Tennessee, reported one object in the sky. The sighting was a ground visual observation that lasted about six to eight seconds.
The object was round and bright beige. The witness estimated it was about 24 inches across. It moved along a straight flight path toward the northwest.
This case is part of Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. The Air Force concluded the sighting was probably caused by a meteor, based on its short duration. No case file was kept.
