Summary

On June 24, 1955, at Camp Poh-Tok, Maryland, a student reported a single object in the sky. The sighting was seen from the ground and lasted about one minute. The time noted on the card is 0330 GMT.

The object was round and the size of a quarter held at arm's length. It looked white when it was stationary and red when it moved. The witness said the object grew in size as it moved and changed color.

The Air Force card lists the conclusion as probably balloon. The comments note that an Air Force jet was plotted in the area at the time. Thunderstorm conditions were present, which the report says fit the description.
