Summary

This case concerns a UFO photograph received from Cairo, Egypt, in July 1956. The film showed seven light images. The Air Force studied the film for photo analysis. No written report came with the film.

The seven images were arranged roughly in a circle. Two of the images were identified by their wings as birds in flight. The other five were probably birds too, in positions where the wings could not be seen. Within the circle were three small dot like faults in the film.

The Air Force concluded that the three dots were probably caused by mechanical means, such as scratches or other marks on the film. The Project 10073 record card, the official record for unidentified flying object reports, listed the conclusion as birds.
