Summary

On January 26, 1953, a ground observer in Baronette, Wisconsin reported sighting a flying object southeast of his UDO post at 2:45 p.m. The observer described the object as having no particular shape, being larger and brighter than a star, and varying in intensity. The color was red, green, white, and blue. The object was a bluish-green color as it disappeared into a cloud. The observer estimated it was very high and moving approximately 10 mph. The object was observed for one hour and 55 minutes before it continued on a north-easterly heading and disappeared into a cloud. The Air Force evaluated the sighting as unidentified.
