Summary

On September 21, 1954, at 9:21 p.m. near Winslow, Arizona, a civilian witness reported seeing one white object emitting light from its rear. The object was visible for approximately 30 seconds and moved eastward at about 20,000 feet altitude, following a flight path north of Green Airway Number Four. Another airline crew sighted the same object heading approximately 152 degrees from St. George, Utah. The object disappeared to the east. No photos or physical evidence were obtained. The Air Force concluded there was insufficient data for evaluation.
