Summary
On June 2, 1957, in Waterloo, Iowa, one object of unknown shape and pan-colored pink was sighted at 3:09 a.m. The object was stationary below the horizon with no maneuvers observed. It remained visible for an unknown duration at 250 degrees azimuth and 10 degrees elevation at initial sighting. The witness reported the moon in the eastern position and setting, with proximity to the sun which had set contributing to misidentification.
