Summary

On a date in 1954, a U.S. Army sergeant and his wife in West Germany observed an orange glowing object for about 90 seconds. The object traveled at a high rate of speed and had a jerky motion.

The information was taken from an Air Force form on file at the Air Technical Intelligence Center. The Air Force record card concluded that, aside from the reported time, which could have been mis-calculated, the object was probably a meteor.
