Summary

On April 23, 1962, observers at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado reported one pale white object, possibly with a short trail. The object moved at high speed, estimated at about Mach 2, with a uniform brightness, on a horizontal path to the northeast. The Air Force noted the color, duration, and flight characteristics of a meteor were present. The record card concluded the sighting was a meteor.
