On November 12, 1957, around 1:00 a.m. GMT, a civilian near Tallassee, Alabama reported a tear-shaped object in a horizontal position. The object had a fluorescent appearance and moved in an up and down direction without touching the ground. The sighting lasted about 10 minutes.
