Summary

# Sylvania, Ohio, January 1960

On January 25, 1960, at around 12:30 p.m. in Sylvania, Ohio, a witness reported seeing an unidentified object in the sky. The sighting lasted only about two seconds. The witness described seeing windows of bright light with dark contrast, displayed in yellow-white color with a black object. The object disappeared instantly.

According to the witness's account, she had been told in advance by mental telepathy that she would see this object. She also stated that she perceived the object's path before actually observing it visually. The witness was asked to complete a detailed Air Force questionnaire about the sighting, but the OCR quality of the document makes most of the handwritten responses illegible.

The Air Force investigation noted several contradictory statements in the report. The official evaluation form indicates the case was marked as "unknown," though the specific reasoning behind that conclusion is not clearly stated in the available file pages.

The full case file is reproduced below as held by the National Archives, comprising 10 pages.
