Summary

On April 27, 1958, near Seminole, Texas, civilians reported three objects in the night sky. The sighting lasted less than one minute. The objects were egg-shaped, reddish-white, and flew in a straight-line formation. There was no tail, trail, or sound. The objects moved upward into a cloud cover with increasing elevation. The report was filed under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. A check with flight services showed two flights of three F-100 aircraft each were in the area of the sighting at the time. The Air Force noted the F-100s were present during the reported sighting.
