Summary

On November 19, 1954, a civilian pilot southeast of New Orleans reported six objects in the sky. The sighting lasted about three to five minutes. The objects disappeared toward the northeast.

The objects were described as blue and white, flashing, and moving up and down before disappearing in the northeast.

The Air Force record, filed under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports, listed the conclusion as astronomical. The card stated the sighting was definitely a star.
