Summary

In June 1954 in Savannah, Georgia, observers reported objects in the sky. The objects were described as generally round with a red glow and a halo effect. They made no sound. No detailed witness report was kept in the file. Air Force analysts compared this sighting with several similar reports already on file. Based on those reports and the way the objects looked, they believed the cause was either a weather balloon or a star. The official conclusion on the record card was possibly balloon. The card is part of Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports.
