Summary
On October 7, 1956, in Norwalk, Ohio, a civilian witness reported seeing one oval-shaped object smaller than a dime. The object was colored orange to green to red to orange and moved up and down while staying in a one-mile area at 1,300 feet elevation. The object was first sighted at 020 degrees elevation and 380 degrees azimuth, then disappeared by fading from sight. It was observed visually for 40 to 45 seconds. The witness was a 15-year-old student from Norwalk, Ohio. Weather conditions were clear and calm. The Air Force evaluation was marked as unknown with a note stating insufficient data for evaluation.
