Summary

On November 10, 1957, a witness in Muncie, Indiana saw one long, glowing white streak in the night sky. The object crossed from one horizon to the other. The witness reported the sky was clear with no trace of daylight. This was a civilian, ground visual report.

The report was filed on Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. The Air Force concluded the object was probably a meteor. It said the description and flight path supported that finding.
