Summary

On June 12, 1957, at 7:30 p.m., a bright point of light was sighted over Milan, Italy. The object came from the East and moved westward at high speed in a zigzag path. It lowered over the city, grew to the size of a hen's egg, and stopped at an estimated altitude of 5,000 feet. The object appeared green-yellow in color and was rotating on its axis. After 17 minutes, it moved toward the upper atmosphere, leaving two white-orange vapor trails before disappearing.
