Summary

In March 1955, two separate observers in Klamath Falls, Oregon reported seeing an unusual object in the night sky. Both witnesses described a cigar-shaped craft approximately 30 feet long. They said it was silver and green in color, sometimes turning blue and red. The object was traveling southward at an unknown altitude. One observer watched it through binoculars and noted that clouds began at 3,000 feet.

The two reports contradicted each other on key details, including the object's size and color. The Air Force investigation was limited and produced no significant results. No correlation was found with radar data or weather patterns. The file notes that a low-flying civilian aircraft was reported near Medford, Oregon at 24,000 feet heading southwest, though the time was unknown.

The cause of the sighting remained unknown. The full case file, consisting of 12 pages as held by the National Archives, is reproduced below.
