Summary

On March 10, 1958, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a witness observed an object at 40 degrees in the northwest sky. The object moved from 20 degrees to 20 degrees west in 30 seconds. It then made a right angle turn and moved without changing speed to the east where it disappeared like a light going out. The witness heard no sound at any time. A later statement noted roaring and buzzing sounds were heard during the sighting. The Air Force noted the report was unreliable because the planet gave no indication as to how it was reached. The case was evaluated as unidentified.
