Summary

On September 29, 1952, at 9:07 p.m., seven civilians near Hearne, Texas, reported seeing a large flying saucer to Bryan Air Force Base Control Tower. The object was described as orange-yellow and black in color. It made a large semi-circular sweep from south to north and exited to the southwest at high speed. Witnesses said it was absolutely visible and had no wings. The object was estimated at roughly 80,000 feet altitude. The observers could not be identified in the city directory of Hearne, Texas, or Bryan, Texas. The Air Force found the reliability of the observers could not be established and concluded further questioning was not possible due to lack of information.
