Summary
On July 6, 1955, near Gulliver, Michigan, a mother and daughter reported one object. The sighting was seen from the ground and lasted about two minutes.
The object was oblong and silver, estimated at about fifteen feet long. It had no wings, markings, exhaust, sound, or other details. It was moving east and rising at the same time.
The Air Force card lists the conclusion as possibly balloon. The comments note that the winds were from the west, blowing east, the same direction the object traveled. No investigation was authorized.
