Summary

On September 7, 1954, three people reported an object in the Aisne Department of France. The sighting was one of a series of European reports collected by the Air Force during the summer and fall of 1954.

The object was a glowing red orange disc. It stopped suddenly at about 200 to 300 meters above the ground. It seemed to have a small glowing tail on its upper side that was part of the object.

The Air Force evaluation was unknown, with insufficient data. The case was filed as part of Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports.
