Summary

On November 9, 1957, military witnesses at Fort Bragg, North Carolina filed two reports. One described a round object the size of a baseball that was white and made a buzzing sound. It faded from sight while climbing to the northeast.

The second report from the same place described a strong bright light about the size of a small fingernail held at arm's length. That object moved in an oscillating path from the south, came to a stop over the observer, then moved east at high speed while climbing and fading from sight.

The Air Force concluded both reports were probably aircraft. This case is part of Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports.
