Insufficient Data

Summary

One day in October 1957 in Dolinsk, USSR, a witness heard a tremendous sound and felt the house shake. The witness ran outside and saw a light high in the western sky. The witness could not identify the object, and it disappeared shortly after. The Air Force record card for Project 10073, its official record for unidentified flying object reports, suggests a possible jet breaking the sound barrier with a sonic boom. The card lists the conclusion as insufficient data for evaluation.
