Summary

On September 12, 1954, at Cape May, New Jersey, a civilian witness reported two bright white lights moving side by side in a northward direction at a speed covering 15 to 20 degrees of arc in one minute. The observation lasted three minutes. When the objects passed overhead, one turned east while the other continued south. One object was bright enough to see against the full moon. The witness watched the objects with naked eyes from the ground near Wildwood Airport. Weather conditions were clear with good visibility. The Air Force evaluation was listed as unknown.
