Summary

On December 2, 1956, near Belvidere, South Dakota, a civilian witness reported seeing two round objects with a 2-foot circumference. The larger object was brilliant red. A smaller object trailed behind it. A bright light startled the observer and disappeared as if a light turned off. The sighting lasted about 10 minutes. The objects were located four miles east of a ground observation corps post. The Air Force concluded there was insufficient data for analysis.
