Summary

On August 22, 1957, at 1520 (Greenwich time) near Bedford and Canton, Ohio, a military observer saw one round white object about the size of the head of a pin. The sighting lasted about 20 seconds. The object made no sound and traveled west at a very high speed and very high altitude. The weather was clear. The Air Force noted the witness was an experienced observer. The Air Force record card for Project 10073, its official record for unidentified flying object reports, lists the conclusion as insufficient data for evaluation.
