Summary

On December 27, 1954, at 7:55 a.m. in Baltimore, Maryland, a civilian observer reported a round object with white color that changed to orange. The object had the size of a dime held at arm's length and sometimes appeared in the form of a cigar. It had no tail. The object remained stationary, appearing at 45 degrees elevation and 100 degrees azimuth at 669 feet. The witness was observing for aircraft. Conditions were clear sky, slight breeze, dry and cold. The Air Force evaluation was listed as unknown.
