Summary

On November 25, 1957, at 12:32 a.m., a civilian observer on Baffin Island, Canada reported a sighting lasting 6.5 minutes. The witness observed a starlike object that was clearly defined with no tail and disappeared quickly. The object moved west to east at 42 degrees southwest, then 30 degrees southeast, and 75 degrees zenith before going behind a cloud. It reappeared and moved overtaking stars for about 6.5 minutes total before disappearing quickly. The Air Force evaluation concluded the sighting was Unknown.
