Summary

On November 7, 1954, an aircraft crew reported an object over the Atlantic Ocean off the coast near the Georgia and Florida area. The sighting was made by military observers from the air and lasted about 20 seconds.

The object was brilliant and left no vapor trail. It passed overhead while flying from east to west, at about 10,000 feet. The crew said they would submit more details after landing, but no further report was received.

The Air Force record listed the conclusion as insufficient data for evaluation. The case was filed as part of Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports.
