Summary

On March 8, 1951, in the Far East near 45 degrees north and 140 degrees east, a military radar station reported a track. The contact was followed for about 9 minutes and showed some climbing and diving maneuvers. The report noted a course of about 035 degrees.

No object was seen by eye; the report came from radar. The Air Force recorded the case in Project 10073, its official file for unidentified flying object reports. The Far East Air Forces evaluated the track as a Soviet aircraft, not a UFO.
