On May 8, 1960, observers in southern Norway saw a long-lasting object in the sky. The report was handled as a multiple-witness case. The object stayed visible for almost 30 minutes.

The object looked like a vapor trail. Particles at its forward end appeared to spiral downward. One object was reported, moving in a generally descending path. The card lists the length of observation as about 30 minutes.

This report was filed under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. The Air Force concluded the information reported was insufficient for a positive identification of the object.
