Summary

Between April 22 and 24, 1952, near Shreveport, Louisiana, the crew of a C-46 aircraft reported an object around 2030 (8:30 p.m.). It was cream colored and circular. The object circled, then climbed.

Reports noted the pilot and co-pilot saw the object dead ahead. As the object closed on the C-46, the pilot made a 360 degree turn. The sighting took place a few hours before a balloon release at a nearby Air Force base. The Air Force record points toward a balloon.
