Summary

On January 21, 1963, a civilian near Rockport Air Force Station, Texas, reported a round, silvery white object during daylight. It looked about the size of a pinhead held at arm's length. The witness viewed it through 7 by 50 binoculars at about 75 degrees above the horizon.

The object followed a straight path. The witness was a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel with long flight experience, rated as an excellent observer. The sky was clear and sunny.

Little other detail was reported. The direction of travel and the length of the sighting were not given. The Air Force, in its Project 10073 record, listed the case as insufficient data for evaluation.
