Summary

On November 6, 1957, witnesses at Radium Springs, New Mexico, reported one object in the sky. The witnesses were military and civilian. The sighting was a ground visual observation that lasted about 10 minutes.

The object was round, about the size of a quarter held at arm's length. It alternated between red, green, blue, and white. It rose vertically from the top of the Organ Mountains and disappeared 10 minutes later into a cloud bank.

This case is part of Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. The Air Force listed the conclusion as unidentified.
