Project Blue Book Case File
Midwestern, U.S., November 1960November 1960
Summary
I have reviewed the entire 81-page OCR'd case file. Unfortunately, the document is severely degraded and largely illegible. While the first few pages contain some readable passages (including references to observers near a Midwest location, mentions of a "crescent" object, and what appears to be Air Force investigative documentation), the vast majority of the file consists of garbled, fragmented, or blank pages that do not provide sufficient coherent detail to support a reliable summary.
The few legible passages suggest this case involved at least one ground visual sighting in the Midwest in November 1960, possibly with multiple witnesses and Air Force follow-up, but the OCR corruption prevents me from accurately determining the specifics of what was seen, when, where, how it behaved, or what conclusions the Air Force reached.
Rather than guess or pad with speculation, I must state plainly that this case file's OCR quality is too poor to produce an accurate public summary.
The full case file as held by the National Archives is reproduced below across 81 pages.
