Summary

On the night of January 15, 1949, personnel at Indian House Lake in Canada reported seeing a bright light streak across the sky at extremely high speed. The observers only saw the light itself, not any solid object behind it. The sighting lasted an unspecified amount of time, though it was apparently brief.

The report came to the U.S. Air Force through the 1305 AACS Group at Fort McAndrew in Newfoundland.
