Summary

On June 25, 1955, near Holt, Florida, civilian and military witnesses reported an object for about five to ten minutes. Three observers said they saw it just above the tree tops. The weather was stormy, with lightning and some rain.

The object was disc-shaped and blue-white with 10 to 14 blinking lights, described as about six inches across. The Air Force record is Project 10073, the service's official file for unidentified flying object reports.

The Air Force evaluated the case as other, with the observer judged unreliable. Records note that one observer had reported other objects in the past that never existed. Because of this, an earlier report was ordered removed and the case was marked accordingly.
