Summary

On February 27, 1956, a civilian observer in Fort Pierce, Florida reported seeing one bright object during a 30-minute observation. The object was round and sometimes cigar-shaped, yellowish white in color, and bright enough to see through clouds before it faded. The object moved in an erratic pattern in a northward direction. A Ground Control Center spotter observed it with binoculars. The Air Force concluded the sighting was unidentified.
