Summary

On October 1, 1947, a civilian in Dodgeville, Wisconsin reported a sighting at 2:00 p.m. A saucer-shaped object was seen to the northwest, moving slowly to the south. At one point it suddenly burst of speed and circled from right to left in a huge circle and moved toward the south at the same time. No sound, smell, or trail was reported. The object had a very high rate of speed while making the circles. One object was observed. The Air Force evaluation is listed as unidentified.
