Summary
On July 21, 1947, in Chengtu, China, a civilian witness reported an object falling from the sky. The object was silver in color and rectangular in shape, measuring about ten inches in length and width and approximately one inch in thickness. The bottom had a sheet of white paper. Inside were four small batteries and two radio transmitter tubes. The object bore English inscriptions. The Air Force evaluation was listed as a radiosonde.
